On Wednesday, July 26, after the end of the official conference program, you have the opportunity to join one of two cultural activities (this is, of course, optional). Guided walking tour through the city center (by "Stattreisen München")

Munich's history started with the salt trade - and what happened then? During our walk in the center of town, we explain how the city developed and what events had a lasting influence until today.

Start: 3 p.m., Duration: 90 minutes, Price: 10 €

Meeting point: Spielzeugmuseum (Turm des Alten Rathauses) (U-/S-Bahn: Marienplatz)

 

Guided tour through the Munich NS Documentation Center

This tour will give you an overview of Munich's Nazi past and show you how the city has dealt with this legacy since 1945.

Start: 3 p.m., Duration: 90 - 120 minutes, Price: 10 €

Meeting point: Max-Mannheimer-Platz 1, 80333 München (U-Bahn: Königsplatz)

 

For those who have booked a cultural activity, a nominal fee of 10 € will be collected during conference registration (please note that cash payment is required).

To ensure a smooth experience, participants can make their own way to the designated meeting point for their activity (meeting points are provided below). Alternatively, you may want to join a group starting at 2:00 pm at the conference venue's registration desk, where we will travel together using public transportation.
